Do I have to wait until next year to switch to Harmony?
We’re recommending that you switch over starting February 2025 because:
- Year-end is always a busy period for you and the Paymate team. Learning a new application always involves a slight learning curve, and it will be best if your team can focus on the implementation. Similarly, we want to make sure that we provide you with our undivided attention. When you switch to Harmony, we can convert your 2025 history without a problem!
- Currently, our team is almost at full capacity for new implementations. Our existing customers have shown a lot of interest in switching over to Harmony, which leaves us with very limited capacity for this year.
How will I access my old data when I switch to Harmony?
Acclaim and Clarity are on-premise solutions, so you will continue to have access to your old data using your current version of Acclaim or Clarity as long as you have the application installed on your computer. You have the option of migrating old history to Harmony, but this will be a billable service.
Do I have to change from Acclaim or Clarity if I don't want to? Are you discontinuing these products?
We know our customers love Acclaim and Clarity, so we do not have plans to discontinue neither product in the foreseeable future. You can continue using your existing software as long as you like.
Will I still be able to integrate with my existing accounting software?
Most likely. Harmony integrates with a wide range of accounting packages, including SAP, Sage, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, and more. Please let us know which accounting or ERP software you’re using and we will let you know.
We have some custom work done with the current software. Will I lose this if I switch over?
Some custom functionality that was added to your software may be a standard feature in Harmony. If it is not, it may have to be added. The Paymate team will look at this on a case-by-case basis. Please let our team know if this applies to you.
Why should I consider switching to Harmony?
There are many advantages to switching over to Harmony:
- Harmony is a web-based solution on the cloud, giving you the freedom to access it from anywhere, at any time, using a web browser.
- Harmony includes additional modules that you can add on, such as Human Resources, Time & Attendance, and Employee Self-Service. Combine the modules together for a comprehensive and unified HRIS.
- Harmony is kept up to date by the Paymate team, freeing you from downloading and installing any new updates throughout the year.
Will I be able to process payroll the same way? Is the user interface completely different?
The overall process is very similar to Acclaim or Clarity, but any new application requires some learning to become an expert. The Paymate team will be running group training sessions and you will have full access to our knowledge base articles and training videos. One-on-one training can also be scheduled upon request.
Is Harmony a payroll service?
Harmony is Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Instead of installing the software on your own computer locally, you access it on the servers in the cloud. Natively, it is not a payroll service.
However, we have also started offering a payroll service. Please contact us if interested.
How can I generate my tax forms if I switch over to Harmony in the middle of the year?
No problem! Since we will be converting your 2025 history to Harmony, you can easily produce the same tax forms in Harmony.
How long will this promotion go for?
The current promotion is valid from September 25th, 2024 through January 31, 2025. The earlier you switch, the longer you can reap the benefits of this promotion.
